MEDICAL RECORDS TRANSLATION

Do you have medical records in an unfamiliar language? TRICARE Prime Overseas, TRICARE Prime Remote Overseas, and TRICARE Plus beneficiaries** can receive medical record translation services through International SOS, the TRICARE Overseas Program (TOP) contractor.

Did you know that International SOS is required to collect medical records under the TOP 2021 contract? We are actively working with our TOP Network Providers to ensure that all medical records are submitted on your behalf, our TRICARE Prime Overseas and TRICARE Prime Remote Overseas beneficiaries.

**Note: TRICARE Plus beneficiaries are ONLY eligible to have their medical records translated through their enrolled MTF. Visit https://tricare.mil/Military-Hospitals-and-Clinics for contact information.

What is considered a valid translation request?

How Do I Submit My Request for Medical Records Translation Services?

Only TRICARE Prime Overseas and TRICARE Prime Remote Overseas beneficiaries are eligible to submit Medical Translation Requests on the MyCare Overseas™ Beneficiary App or on the web-based portal.

On the “Menu” page (by clicking the three horizontal lines in the upper right corner if using the app, or on the left side of the page if using the web-based portal), click on “My Medical Translations.” Next, click on the “Create Medical Translation Request” button, fill in the details and upload your file(s).
